Ah well lemme just put my work here :-)

1) My personal Web site

http://www.ilstu.edu/~asharm4/index.htm

This website was created by me as a assignment for class 352.05 during my masters project. The site contains samples of code that I have written while working on various projects, some of my old assignments and my resume. This website is the first and second link that comes up now when you Google for Abhilasha Sharma.

The site is static and was created purely using HTML, dream weaver and Photoshop.

2) Class projects

http://138.87.169.72:9080/TCDT/

I worked as the team leader for a project for State Farm Insurances where we designed and developed an all-pair testing tool which can be used to reduce the number of tests by application of all-pair techniques while providing equivalent test coverage. The technologies used were Rational Rose and J2EE (WSAD). I continuously interacted with the client throughout the project and managed to keep the scope under control even with evolving and changing requirements.

I independently created an E-commerce website with MySQL 3.23.54 and PHP 4.0. This website allows for sales reviews, sellers reviews and promotional emails for the buyers and customized product posting and category creation by the seller.

3) Work I independently did

http://reports.rsp.ilstu.edu/

I am currently working on a web based application to automate the business process of generating annual reports for grants and submissions to the research and sponsored programs department. This application currently accepts file exports from FileMaker Database and then crunches numbers to generate various yearly and quarterly reports for the department. The website is equipped with a fully customized backend

http://www.exu.ilstu.edu/gamma_phi/index.phtml

I single handedly developed a web based application to automate the business processes of Gamma Phi Circus providing the members and administrators to interact with each other through the website. Performed detailed requirement analysis, web application development, website design, and developed backend tools for administrative monitoring of the process, thereby reducing the paperwork for the circus by 95 %. The services were made available to 250+ students and faculty members actively involved with circus.

http://www.exu.ilstu.edu/survey/reports/

I designed and implemented a survey of Illinois Council of Higher Education through which responses of the top officials of 50+ colleges and schools across Illinois were gathered and automatic reports were generated based on those responses. The survey is offline now but the link to the reports is provided.

4) Work I contributed to as a team member

http://www.ncist.ilstu.edu/

I was a part of a two member team which planned and designed the web application for National Center for Integrated System Technology allowing 1500+ manufacturers and employment seeking individuals to reach each other .I was solely responsible for implementation of the web application.

http://www.exu.ilstu.edu/

I have been continuously monitoring, updating and maintaining the websites for Extended University, Infotech, Extended Learning and distance education as a part of two member team at Extended University.

5) New work I developed for this interview

http://138.87.94.12/biography%2Ddev/

This is a web application I am developing for IWSS which aims to centralize the campus wide faculty staff listing and allow the team at IWSS to generate customized faculty staff listings for the various on campus websites. You would need to use your ULID and password to login into the application. This application is still under construction.
