Since 1971 Cynthia Huff has been breeding
quality white and black standard poodles, with her mother until her
death in 1997 and now with her daughter, son and husband. Safari
Standard Poodles now tally over 100 champions in the U.S., Canada,
Korea, Mexico, Germany, the Netherlands, and Greece. In August of 1987,
American/Canadian Ch. Safari's Evensong became the top-producing
Standard dam in the history of American poodles, breaking a
twenty-seven year reign. Our poodles have excelled as therapy dogs,
duck dogs, and obedience dogs.
Safari Standards are known as healthy, friendly
companions and showdogs. We are proud members of the Poodle Club of
America. Our breeding philosophy gives equal weight to temperament,
health, and conformation. Our daughter and son help whelp our puppies,
handle them in the whelping box, present them in the showring, and play
with them in the backyard.
We breed one, perhaps two litters of puppies a
year. We also offer stud service to select show-quality bitches.
