I am a professor of Operations Management at the College of Business at Illinois State University. My teaching areas are Operations Management, Quality Management, and Management Science. My research interests include waiting line analysis, vehicle routing, quality management, operations strategy, inventory management, and Just-In-Time. My undergraduate degree is in Industrial Engineering from Sharif University, and I have received my MBA and Ph.D. in Business Administration from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. I serve on the editorial review board of the Journal of managerial Issues and review manuscripts for a number of other journals. I am a member of American Society for Quality (ASQ), Decision Sciences Institute (DSI), and Production and Operations Management Society (POMS).
