CSDS Licencing Process (2009 licences) |
|
1. Arrange with G. Ferrence to be a project participant. |
|
2. Receive 2009 "schedule" from
CCDC; make sure it quotes DCF project rate. |
|
3. Complete and return schedule to CCDC |
|
4. Make payment to CCDC for
licences. |
|
5. Receive licences and DVD from CCDC. |
|
|
CSDS Reimbursement Process (2009 licences) |
|
1. Complete licencing process noted above. |
|
2. If this is your first year as
a DCF participant, complete the
New Vendor form linked here. The New Vendor or
New Address Section needs to be completed. (If you
completed a New Vendor form last year as a DCF participant, you
do not need to do it again this year.) |
|
3. Obtain a copy of invoice/bill from the Cambridge
Crystallographic Data Centre. |
|
4. Obtain proof of payment for your CSDS licences.
This could be a receipt from the CCDC showing that payment in
full has been made, a photocopy of a credit card bill showing
payment in full to the CCDC, documentation from your
institution's financial office showing payment in full to the
CCDC. |
|
5. A letter requesting reimbursement from ISU stating: |
We request
reimbursement from Illinois State University for $xxxx usd for
purchase of a 2009 CSDS site licence from the CCDC according to
the NSF-DCF project rate.
Please make remittance payable to xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx.
Please send to: Xxxxxxxxx xxxxxxxxxxxxx City, State, Zip
Thank you, Xxxxxxx : |
| |
|
6. Send copies of items noted in 2,3,4,and 5 to Greg
Ferrence by post, e-mail, or fax. |
|
7. Once item 6 is completed, reimbursement should generally
happen within about three weeks. E-mail Greg if it is
taking longer. |

CSDS Faculty Training
Workshops |
|
If you are a current DCF CSDS project
participant, contact Greg Ferrence to schedule an on site visit
by him. |
|
Format is flexible. Generally
Greg will spend a full day on site, having faculty work
"hands-on" with the CSDS. He can meet individually with
faculty or in groups for a little or as much time is convenient. |
|
Greg is happy to present a 1-hour
seminar style discussion of the CSDS. This is particularly
useful if it is early in the visit and is combined with
individual or small group meetings with faculty. |
|
If invited, Greg is happy to present a
research seminar about his f-element research to your
Department. This is not related to the DCF project, but as
long as I am on site, you may find this convenient. |
|
Expenses for Greg's travel are covered
by the NSF-DCF grant. |
