Using SPSS to Compute Reliability

This series of 11 web pages shows the steps one would take to compute test-retest reliability, split-half reliability, and coefficient alpha using SPSS for Windows 9.0. The examples here are based on 81 college students who took the 10-item Rosenberg Self-Esteem Scale (SES) twice over a two-month period.

Computing test-retest reliability is the easiest, so let's start with that.
