What I more or less have in my basement |
The odyssey begins: Picking up the kit at Oshkosh December 29, 2003 |
Welcome to the web site for Sonex 584. The purpose of this site is to provide some documentation of my attempt to build an experimental aircraft. Considering I've never built anything more complicated than a bird house and have never changed the oil in my car (let alone my 1975 Piper Arrow), this is a daunting task to say the least!
This site is very spartan in nature for several reasons. First of all, I spent much of the last nine years maintaining and creating a web site as part of my job, and I don't really fancy the idea of working on the same stuff when I get home. More importantly, fancy web sites take time to build and maintain, and that's time I'd rather spend building the Sonex instead!
For information on the Sonex kit aircraft, see the Sonex web site.
Thanks and enjoy your visit!
