Daniel Borzutzky is the author of two books:  The Ecstasy of Capitulation (BlazeVox, 2007) and Arbitrary Tales (Triple Press, 2005). He is the translator of Port Trakl, poems by Jaime Luis Huenún (Action Books, January 2008) and a special issue on the work of Chilean fiction writer Juan Emar in the Review of Contemporary Fiction (Summer 2007). Additionally, Borzutzky has translated several other Latin American writers, including Manuel Silva Acevedo, Raul Zurita, and Cristina Peri Rossi; and his translations have appeared in Connecting Lines: New Poetry from Mexico, and in the Oxford Anthology of Latin American Poetry. Borzutzky's poems and prose have appeared in dozens of journals, including American Letters and Commentary, Fence, TriQuarterly, Mississippi Review, Action Yes, Chicago Review, and several others; and his books have been reviewed in several venues, including Rain Taxi Review of Books, New York Press, Time Out Chicago, Galatea Resurrects, Bookslut, and The Believer. Borzutzky is a professor in the English Department at Wright College of the City Colleges of Chicago.
