• Spanish grammar strategies: A website focusing on strategies for learning grammar in Spanish. Includes advice for HOW to learn grammar.
• Ejercicios de gramática (Arriví): Practice exercises on many Spanish grammar points.

• Dancing with Words. Learn Spanish Pragmatics: This interactive, multimedia site is dedicated to self-study of how to be polite in Spanish and is a great resource for students--highly recommended!!
• Dictionary of sayings (refranes) in Spanish: The Mexican Academy of Languages has an online dictionary of sayings and expressions in Spanish. The great thing about this dictionary is that the author explains the origin and popular use of each saying.
• WordReference Forum: Online bilingual dictionary and discussion forum.
• Diccionario de la Real Academia Española: Online monolingual dictionary from the Royal Academy in Spain.
• Spanish Schools Abroad Blog: The most comprehensive listing of independent Spanish language schools in many different Spanish-speaking countries.

SPANISH LANGUAGE PODCASTS
The proliferation of podcasts in the last few years offers the opportunity to hear a wide range of programming in Spanish. The best way to search for podcasts is through a program such as iTunes. Those listed below are just a select few of the Spanish-language podcasts available. All are FREE!

• BBC Mundo: Daily 10-minute podcast with news in Spanish.
• España Directo: Daily podcast with short excerpts from a program on Radio Nacional Española (Spain). Topics include contemporary Spanish culture and current events.
• Cadena SER: Daily programs from the radio station SER in Spain, available in podcasts with a wide variety of programs on cinema, arts, sports, current events, and more.
• Notes in Spanish: Educational podcasts for Spanish-language learners at beginning, intermediate, and advanced levels.
