Sally E. Parry (left) is the Associate Dean for Student and Curricular Affairs in the College of Arts and Sciences at Illinois State University and the Director of General Education. She is the Executive Director of the Sinclair Lewis Society and has been editor of the Sinclair Lewis Society Newsletter for the last 14 years. She has published numerous articles in such journals as Studies in American Fiction, Connecticut Review, Midwestern Miscellany,and Journal of Florida Literature and is the editor of two collections of short stories by Sinclair Lewis; Go East, Young: Sinclair Lewis on Class in America and The Minnesota Stories of Sinclair Lewis.
Robert L. McLaughlin (right) is a Professor of English at Illinois State University. He has published many articles on postmodern fiction and culture, particularly on Thomas Pynchon, in such journals as Critique, Pynchon Notes, and symploke and in such collections as On Anthologies: Politics and Pedagogy, American Postmodernity, and Postmodernism: Key Figures. He is the editor of Innovations: An Anthology of Modern and Contemporary Fiction (Dalkey Archive Press, 1998), and from 1993 to 2005 he served as editor of the Review of Contemporary Fiction.
