What do I do outside of work? Well, a number of things, but something I really enjoy is the SCA. I am a member of the Baile na Scolairi shire as well as the Le Corps de Sang. Here's a few pictures from a couple of events. Another thing is riding my motorcycle.

Fuel Prices
• Fuel prices for our vehicles are annoying, irritating, and downright frustrating. The way the industry price gouges and comes across as a collusion really gets under my skin. Fortunately, consumers are posting these rates so that others can find the lowest prices. For the Bloomington area, there is Illinois Gas Prices.com and from there you can get your city's prices. It all starts from Gas Buddy.com. Be sure to check out the Gas Price Temperature Map which shows the nation and Illinois by county prices (scroll down for Illinois). Very helpful...
  Weather

• I have a new favourite -- AccuWeather -- it doesn't auto-refresh like the next one, but I use it the most.
• Here is the Underground forecast for Bloomington (handy for comparisons -- very detailed forecast and updated often, they also have this).
• Here is CNN's weather forecast. I like the satellite shots and radar shots.
• Well, here is the National Weather Service forecast for Bloomington, Illinois.
• "Nobody on Earth has better weather than the WeatherChannel." But they tend to be slow and not really worth it. I do admit to using one of their stripped down sites which I further strip to send to my cell phone.
• Another site for the weather (although it's really for Peoria). It's fairly detailed, too. Here's something else for radar.

  That isn't really true. Since I got a TiVo I don't bother looking up television schedules on line, per se. I don't even know if those listings are any good. It's been a long time...
