A Little Bit About Me
My brother, me, and two sisters
Education: I am a senior at Illinois State University where I am a Middle Level Teacher Education Major. With my degree I have endorsements in Language Arts and Science. I received my Associates in Art from Heartland Community College in 2006 and will graduate in May from ISU in the spring of 2008.
Free Time: When I'm not at school I enjoy spending time with my family and my two cats Lewis and Clark. I have one older brother, two younger sisters, and two amazing parents! I come from a long line of educators as my mother, grandparents, and several other relatives are all teachers. You can usually find me reading adolescent literature as I am constantly searching for new books to add to my future class library!
Future: In the future, I want to be teaching adolescents while creating meaningful connections between the families and communities of Central Illinois. As a teacher I see myself as being a life long learner. I will continue to take classes in order to enhance my ability of being a successful educator.
